Alex Zerega Wins 3rd Annual Flex Bikini Model Search

California girl, Alexandra Zerega was awarded the 2010 FLEX Bikini Model Search crown this afternoon. She beat out a competitive field of over 85 women in the third annual event. Alex was quick on her feet during the interview round and obviously looked the part.

Taking the runner-up spot was Dayna Maleton. Dayna showed poise and confidence on stage, something that she’s lacked from time to time on other bikini stages. A very cute, Tatum Miranda finished in the third place position. Michell Gullet took home fourth and Dara Reyes rounded out the top five.

Isaac, hopefully you can answer this question . . . How is it that IFBB Pros are eligible to compete in the FLEX bikini model search? . . . as I read from someone who was entered that she was no longer eligible because she won overall at a national show and was awarded her pro card. ANd I do think that both Dayna and Michell are pros . . . THo it was nice to see Dayna do well . . . I really like her physique, but the IFBB pro judges don’t seem to reward her . . . but I don’t think she’s too muscular. I was actually hoping when the NPC started a bikini division, that her type of physique is what they were looking for :-(

  2. They are two separate things. I’m not sure what that someone wrote but what I do know was that bikini pros who were in the Olympia had to choose between the Olympia or the model search, they couldn’t do both. Michell and Dayna are pros but did not qualify for the Olympia.

It was the best Dayna had looked and also the best she has presented. IF she brought that package and presentation to the IFBB stage she could move up. I’m not a fan of the legs spread wide apart and she still needs to get comfortable in her skin when presenting.

A large part of the bikini division is presentation, something Dayna has lacked but is definitely improving.
