We ran across this video that is getting some attention in the media. A father reads daughter’s facebook posting and takes to youtube to teach her a lesson. Some people feel this video is great and it sends a message to ungrateful children. There’s another camp that views it as bullying and bad parenting.
The father sits in a wooden thrown wearing a cowboy hat and holding a cigarette. Clearly he’s unhappy with his ungrateful daughter and when you hear what she wrote on her facebook wall, most parents would be upset. The video takes a bizarre twist towards the end of the video when it looks like a real, live version of DOOM. The dad grabs the camera, his handgun and busts a few caps in the laptop’s ass. Will that teach the kid a lesson or only drive her to rebel more? Definitely a sign of the times when it comes to parenting. This probably isn’t the first time a parent has taken extreme measures to prove a point but it might be the first time we’ve seen it posted to youtube. The video has been seen by millions already.
