Taylor Matheny Benston Take Top Honors at The Irongames Pro

Taylor Matheny Benston won her first pro show in Culver City over the weekend at the IFBB IRON GAMES. Sixteen women competed but only the winner punches their ticket to the Olympia stage. She successfully did what few saw coming… beat last week’s Iowa Pro champion, Narmin Assria.

Taylor is no stranger to the pro bikini stage and her placings have been up and down over the past two years. She’s always had a great look but it was the little details that held her back. She would often try too hard to be sexy on stage and her suit choices weren’t always the best. She’d place as high as second and as low as 16th. On Saturday in Culver City, California she put all the little details together and deservedly took top honors. The judges saw it as an unanimous win.

Narmin Assria was coming off a win at the Iowa Pro so the pressure was off her but that didn’t stop her from showing up less than her best. She had to settle for second this time around though. Riding a high from last weekend’s first pro master’s win, Noy Alexander continued to more than hold her own. She finished fifth in the open last week and moved up to third in this competition. She continues to bring a better look as the season goes on. Candice Conroy edged out Jessica Arevalo by three points to take fourth. Jessica was third last week in Sacramento but relegated to fifth this weekend.
