Christie Marquez could be considered the veteran of the IFBB Bikini division, at least in this line up. She’d competed in over 15 shows as a pro and we’ve seen her placings all over the map with her highest finish being 4th place. On Saturday night she change that by notching her first pro win and a ticket to the Olympia in the process. Nipping at her heels in second was Texan Kelsie Burgin. Kelsie achieved pro status at the 2012 NPC USA but had struggled to finish higher than 10th in her previous four shows. She brought a tighter, toned physique this time around and it paid off with a second place finish. Rounding out the top three was newcomer, Michelle Lewin. Michelle has built quite the fan base online with her popular instagram account and found success in a string of NPC shows in Florida. Michelle was the 2013 NPC Ft. Lauderdale Cup overall winner. She achieved pro status but successfully petitioning for her pro card, as other non-USA residence have done. Most notably, Nathalia Melo who also won the NPC Ft. Lauderdale cup and went on to become the Bikini Olympia champ. Michelle brings a bit more muscle than some of the other women in the show, most notably in her legs. She’s one to watch upcoming shows to make a run for the top spot and don’t be surprised if you see her grace a magazine cover or two this year.
