Gina Curano may have spent too much time in the hospitality room of American Gladiators. Gina (nicknamed “conviction” in the MMA world) failed to make weight for her upcoming fight. Curano weighed in at 144.5lbs (weight class is 140lbs) and according to MMAmania.com, the New Jersey Athletic Control Board Deputy Attorney didn’t want her to cut any more weight. The fight will still go on but Gina will surrender a percentage of the purse. Gina will fight as part of the new CBS deal with Elite XC coined “Saturday Night Fightsâ€. The fights air this Saturday on CBS.
