Ana Delia De Iturrondo Spotlight: Women of The NPC

Ana Delia has quietly moved into the spotlight over the past two years. She’s consistently finished in the top spots of every NPC show she has entered however it’s her ability to model that has people talking. One of the biggest challenges Ana has faced is living outside of the continental U.S. The distance can make it expensive and inconvenient to get to shows and modeling opportunities. She’s proving that if you’re determined and motivated you can overcome any obstacle.

Ana has appeared in a number of advertisements and magazines outside of the fitness industry. She is a perfect example that you don’t have to win shows or be a pro to find success in the fitness industry. Ana won month three of the FLEX Online Model Search and went on to be crowned the overall Flex Bikini Model Search winner. Previous winners have been Amanda Latona, Kathleen Tesoi, Alex Zerega and Yarelis Gonzales. She currently works as a make-up artist in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

ESPN The Magazine – 2012 Body Issue Preview

ESPN The Magazine has provided a sneak peek at some of the feature Hardbody men and women in its upcoming “BODY” issue. One of our favorite Hardbody women, MMA Champion Ronda Rousey is feature in the issue and looks great. The issue is always done in good taste and features classy photos of incredible athletes.

Check out the online preview on ESPN.com that features 35 images of all the incredible athletes. U.S. Women’s national soccer team forward, Abby Wambach tells ESPN, “Female athletes are getting very, very think but I’m a bigger woman — I have bigger muscles, and that’s OK. For me more muscle gives me more power and speed, and I need that.”

Haywire Star Gina Carano Featured in GQ

Gina Carano has been thought of as the “face of women’s MMA” for years however she hasn’t fought in quite some time. She was an American Gladiator until the show was canceled. Gina’s appeared in Muscle & Fitness, ESPN BODY issue, Super Bowl commercials and definitely has a hardbody. If you disagree, let her know and see how far that gets you. Check out the “Satan” workout we featured a couple years ago to see Gina working out.

Actually, Gina is usually quite shy when she appears on the read carpet and in interviews but don’t let her coy demeanor fool you. Gina is a bad ass and her first film as a leading actress, HAYWIRE, looks to be a legit flick.

Gina is featured in Men’s magazine, GQ and it’s a pretty kick ass photo by Carlos Serrao. The feature highlights her MMA background and why she was the perfect for the role in HAYWIRE. Check out the larger version of the feature here. This is a great example of how hardbody women can be shown in classy manner and appeal to mainstream.

Props Gina Carano, Carlos Serrao & GQ magazine.
