A decade will come to a close this week and a new one will begin. There’s been numerous things happen from 2000 on. Obviously, many things such as 911 had a huge impact on all of our lives and will for years to come. What in the world of female bodybuilding/figure/fitness/bikini, do you think is the top story of the decade?
The top three stories on my list are the inception of NPC figure in 2001, addition of IFBB Pro Figure and the bizarre story around Kelly Ryan’s involvement in the death of Melissa James. Three very different stories but all continue to resonate in my mind. The IFBB pro figure division was introduced in 2003 and has definitely changed things on and off stage for women.
