Um, ya. This ad is creepy on so many levels. The print ad for Sanitol Hand Sanitizer was created by McCann Worldwide Group in New Delhi, India. It makes me uncomfortable and feel the need to shower but not so sure on the hand sanitizer.
First, what’s up with the composition of this ad? Hey dude look at me lift this monster 2 pound weight while I touch your hairy arm pit. Second, why is she touching his pit? It looks like she’s petting it like a kitty while she gets her bicep curl on. Strange.
Touch him. And you touch everything he’s touched.

Ewww…..I don’t get it and now I am grossed out! I have a B.A. in Public Relations and I think the person from the McCann Worldgroup that created this ad may need to go back to school and re-take Marketing 101.
hmmmm. That’s extremely creepy and just plain silly. If that’s supposed to make people want to buy the product, it’s certainly not working.
people are usually quite iffy about their own pits, and seeing something like that is seriously gross.
…then I think…. hang on a second…. this is for the Indian market, maybe it’s a cultual thing, like it’s a normal thing to do –
“hi honey. How was your day?” as she pats his pit……
